 CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, IH-610 in Houston, commonly known as Loop 610, runs

Loop, runs east and west and was once well-known as the site of the

Park and a variety of businesses, and numerous residents who live
 nearby rely on the South Loop for their daily transportation needs;
 and

thoroughfare in the area, passing under the South Loop just east of
the South Loop-Texas 288 interchange; the westbound lanes of the

deliveries to and from businesses are needlessly time intensive, as
are simple trips for residents who live off Cullen; and

responsible for building exit ramps at strategic points along
federal and state freeways, and Cullen Boulevard, with its
proximity to businesses and neighborhoods, certainly qualifies as
an important access point for local motorists; now, therefore, be
 it

an exit ramp for Cullen Boulevard off westbound IH-610 South; and,
 be it further
RESOLVED, That the secretary of state forward an official
copy of this resolution to the chair of the Texas Transportation
Commission and to the executive director of the Texas Department of
 Transportation.
