| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Members of the order have included such luminaries |

| 9 | 9 | | as writer John Steinbeck, actor John Wayne, news anchor Walter |

| 10 | 10 | | Cronkite, and astronaut Frank Borman; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, An affiliate, the Texas DeMolay Association, |

| 12 | 12 | | periodically sponsors a legislative seminar to educate its members |

| 13 | 13 | | in the theory and practice of state government; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, This rewarding educational program offers |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | participants across the state a unique opportunity to experience |

| 16 | 16 | | and learn about the legislative process; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives heartily |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | endorses the goals and ideals of the Texas DeMolay Association |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
