| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Hochstedler of Temple celebrated |

| 6 | 6 | | their 65th wedding anniversary on March 2, 2009, and they may indeed |

| 7 | 7 | | reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |

|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hochstedler and the former Ina Lee Bleeker |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | exchanged the vows of matrimony on that special day in 1944, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | over the course of their marriage, they have found in one another a |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | loving life partner; Mr. Hochstedler is retired after serving in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the U.S. Army and in civil service; Mrs. Hochstedler is a homemaker; |

| 14 | 14 | | and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hochstedler count among their blessings |

| 16 | 16 | | a fine family that includes 4 children, Robert, Jim, Darlene, and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | James, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | great-great-grandchild, with whom they share the many special |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | occasions of life; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, For 65 years, Mr. and Mrs. Hochstedler have brought |

| 21 | 21 | | to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment to one |

| 23 | 23 | | another; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Hochstedler on |
