 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends cherish their memories of Dwain
 "Duby" English of Abilene, who died on December 27, 2007, at the age
 of 46; and
 WHEREAS, Duby English was born in Merkel on May 26, 1960, and
 graduated from Merkel High School in 1978; he was an electric
 lineman for Taylor Electric Cooperative for 29 years; and
 WHEREAS, Actively engaged in the life of his community, he
 was a Little League coach and a member of First Baptist Church of
 Merkel; he was also a member of the Texas Trophy Hunters
 Association, through which he won many awards, and he worked as a
 hunting guide for the Double Horseshoe Ranch; and
 WHEREAS, Although Mr. English was taken much too soon, those
 fortunate to know and love him will remember the joy he brought to
 their lives, and he will always hold a treasured place in their
 hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Dwain "Duby" English
 and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
 wife, Sally English; to his son, Cody English, and his wife,
 Kristie; to his daughter, Trina Riley, and her husband, Michael; to
 his mother, Bonnie Owens, and her husband, Floyd; to his
 grandmother, Hazel Pack; to his sister, Taresia Griffith, and her
 husband, Randy; to his grandchildren, Jessika Riley, Justin Riley,
 Tanner Riley, Trace Riley, Ashley English, and Tyler English; to
 his niece, Shanda Griffith; and to his other relatives and friends;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dwain
 "Duby" English.
