44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Mary
66 Doris Cammack Hall of Beaumont, who passed away on March 22, 2009,
77 at the age of 84; and
88 WHEREAS, A Beaumont native, Mary Doris Hall lived there for
99 much of her life; from 1955 to 1996, she made her home in Houston,
1010 where she worked in the purchasing department of Conoco for 28
1111 years; and
1212 WHEREAS, Mrs. Hall was a longtime member of Concerned Women
1313 for America; she was very involved in Republican women's activities
1414 and served as an election judge in Harris and Jefferson Counties;
1515 and
1616 WHEREAS, Mary Doris Hall lived a caring and purposeful life,
1717 and though she will be deeply missed, she leaves her loved ones with
1818 many fond memories of happy times spent in her company; now,
1919 therefore, be it
2020 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2121 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Mary Doris Cammack
2222 Hall and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to
2323 her son, Harold David Hall; to her granddaughter, Kathryn Ann Hall;
2424 to her siblings, Wilma Collins, Lucretia Campbell and her husband,
2525 Gene, Audrey Tindall, and Eugene Cammack and his wife, Naomi; and to
2626 her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
2727 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2828 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
2929 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary Doris
3030 Hall.
