H.R. No. 1323 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Mary Doris Cammack Hall of Beaumont, who passed away on March 22, 2009, at the age of 84; and WHEREAS, A Beaumont native, Mary Doris Hall lived there for much of her life; from 1955 to 1996, she made her home in Houston, where she worked in the purchasing department of Conoco for 28 years; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Hall was a longtime member of Concerned Women for America; she was very involved in Republican women's activities and served as an election judge in Harris and Jefferson Counties; and WHEREAS, Mary Doris Hall lived a caring and purposeful life, and though she will be deeply missed, she leaves her loved ones with many fond memories of happy times spent in her company; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Mary Doris Cammack Hall and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her son, Harold David Hall; to her granddaughter, Kathryn Ann Hall; to her siblings, Wilma Collins, Lucretia Campbell and her husband, Gene, Audrey Tindall, and Eugene Cammack and his wife, Naomi; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary Doris Hall.
