| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Johnny and Unita Courns of Greenville celebrated |

| 6 | 6 | | their 50th wedding anniversary on March 13, 2009, and they may |

| 7 | 7 | | indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |

| 8 | 8 | | shared; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Courns exchanged the vows of matrimony |

| 10 | 10 | | in 1959, and over the course of their marriage they have found in |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | one another a loving life partner; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, This inspiring couple count among their blessings a |

| 13 | 13 | | fine family that includes six children, five grandchildren, and a |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | great-grandchild, with whom they share the many special occasions |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, For half a century, Johnny and Unita Courns have |

| 17 | 17 | | brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |

| 18 | 18 | | is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
