5	5	WHEREAS, Through quick thinking and decisive action,
6	6	fifth-grader Angela Grisham saved the life of a fellow student at
7	7	Sour Lake Elementary School; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Students from the school were eating in the
9	9	cafeteria when Miss Grisham noticed that a third-grade student was
10	10	choking on his cereal; and
11	11	WHEREAS, After calling for a teacher and patting the boy on
12	12	the back, Miss Grisham, who is 10 years old, applied the Heimlich
13	13	maneuver on the stricken child and dislodged the food that was
14	14	blocking his airway; and
15	15	WHEREAS, The daughter of Callye and David Windsor of Sour
16	16	Lake, Miss Grisham has been recognized for her heroism with an
17	17	Outstanding Citizenship Award from the Sour Lake school board; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Angela Grisham's lifesaving actions helped to avert
19	19	a potential tragedy, and she is a source of great pride to her
20	20	family, school, and community; now, therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
22	22	Legislature hereby commend Angela Grisham for rescuing another
23	23	student and extend to her sincere best wishes for a bright and
24	24	promising future; and, be it further
25	25	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
26	26	prepared for Miss Grisham as an expression of high regard by the
27	27	Texas House of Representatives.
