 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Small businesses play a vital role in the economy of
 the Lone Star State by providing employment for Texans, and with the
 assistance of the Small Business Development Center at The
 University of Texas at San Antonio, John Boudreau of San Antonio has
 started a company and created three new jobs; and
 WHEREAS, The SBDC helps small businesses grow and prosper in
 the San Antonio area by providing a variety of services to business
 owners, including training, counseling, and referrals; and
 WHEREAS, A&T Assets was conceived by John Boudreau as a real
 estate development and construction company; working with SBDC
 business advisor Richard Sifuentes, Mr. Boudreau developed a
 business plan, obtained several small business certifications, and
 considered various methods of funding the business; and
 WHEREAS, Following this period of careful planning, Mr.
 Boudreau began his new business in September of 2007; three new jobs
 were created, and the company is working on several construction,
 remodeling, and restoration projects for both commercial and
 residential properties; and
 WHEREAS, The hard work, dedication, and thoughtful
 preparation of Texas entrepreneurs all contribute greatly to the
 prosperity of the state, and Mr. Boudreau is building a foundation
 of success for himself and his community; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate John Boudreau on the establishment
 of A&T Assets and extend to him sincere best wishes for success in
 his exciting venture; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Boudreau as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
