| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned half a |

| 6 | 6 | | century, Lewis and Mary Propst of Hewitt celebrated their 50th |

| 7 | 7 | | wedding anniversary on September 15, 2007; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Lewis Propst and the former Mary Montanaro exchanged |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | the vows of matrimony in Waco on that special day in 1957, and over |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | devoted life partner; Mr. Propst retired from the U.S. Navy Seabees |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and Owens-Illinois glass plant; Mrs. Propst worked for 21 years |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | with Dr. Charles Gamble; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Propst count among their blessings a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | fine family that includes their children, Michael Propst and his |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | wife, Linda, Laurie McCoy and her husband, J. D., and Kelley Arthur, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | as well as five granddaughters, Amanda, Morgan, Ana, Kendall, and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Erika, with whom they treasure sharing the many special occasions |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | of life; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Lewis and Mary Propst have brought laughter, |

| 21 | 21 | | kindness, and devotion to their marriage, and it is a pleasure to |

| 22 | 22 | | honor them for their enduring commitment; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
