44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five
66 decades, Charles and Greneta Ordner of Westphalia celebrated their
77 50th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2009; and
88 WHEREAS, Charles Ordner and the former Greneta Frenzel
99 exchanged the vows of matrimony at the Church of the Visitation in
1010 Westphalia on that special day in 1959, and over the course of their
1111 marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life partner; the
1212 couple are both retired from Wilsonart International; and
1313 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ordner count among their blessings a
1414 fine family that includes three children and their spouses, Dwayne
1515 Ordner and his wife, Joann, Cheryl Wilde and her husband, Calvin,
1616 and Craig Ordner and his wife, Debbie, as well as seven
1717 grandchildren, with whom they treasure sharing the many special
1818 occasions of life; and
1919 WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Charles and
2020 Greneta Ordner can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and
2121 know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that
2222 many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
2323 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2424 Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Greneta Ordner on their
2525 golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
2626 for continued happiness; and, be it further
2727 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2828 prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ordner as an expression of high regard by
2929 the Texas House of Representatives.
