H.R. No. 1776
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five
decades, Charles and Greneta Ordner of Westphalia celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on April 5, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Charles Ordner and the former Greneta Frenzel
exchanged the vows of matrimony at the Church of the Visitation in
Westphalia on that special day in 1959, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life partner; the
couple are both retired from Wilsonart International; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ordner count among their blessings a
fine family that includes three children and their spouses, Dwayne
Ordner and his wife, Joann, Cheryl Wilde and her husband, Calvin,
and Craig Ordner and his wife, Debbie, as well as seven
grandchildren, with whom they treasure sharing the many special
occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Charles and
Greneta Ordner can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and
know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Greneta Ordner on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ordner as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
