| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, September 26, 2007, marked the 60th wedding |

| 6 | 6 | | anniversary of Jack A. and Frances Warren Chandler of Crawford, and |

| 7 | 7 | | this was indeed a joyous milestone in their memorable journey |

| 8 | 8 | | together as husband and wife; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Chandler were joined in matrimony on |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | that special day in 1947 at a ceremony held at Harris Creek Baptist |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Church; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | family that includes their children, Janice Kirkland and her |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | husband, Alan, and Archie Chandler, and their six grandchildren, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Michael and his wife, Brooke, Jarod, Jessica and her husband, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Jason, Justin, Jacob, and Jill; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Chandler is retired from Southwestern Bell and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Mrs. Chandler is retired from Smead Manufacturing, and both have |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | long been involved in running their farm and ranch; in addition to |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | meeting their work and family responsibilities, they are valued |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | members of Shiloh Baptist Church; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, The more than 60 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Chandler have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | who know them; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Jack and Frances Chandler on their |

| 27 | 27 | | 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
