 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Bullard High School senior Danielle Heithoff has
 been named Player of the Year on the Tyler Morning Telegraph 2009
 All-East Texas Girls Basketball Team; and
 WHEREAS, Born in Minnesota, Ms. Heithoff played for her high
 school team in the city of Rochester before moving to Texas with her
 family in 2008; she soon gained recognition as a valuable member of
 the Bullard Lady Panthers, being awarded district most valuable
 player and All-East Texas Newcomer of the Year honors in her junior
 year; and
 WHEREAS, During the 2008-2009 season, she continued to build
 her reputation as an elite power forward and dominant all-around
 player; under the able guidance of head coach Greg Gay, she helped
 lead Bullard to a 30-4 record while averaging nearly 20 points a
 game; she will continue her basketball career in the fall, when
 becomes a member of the team at Lamar University; and
 WHEREAS, Winning the All-East Texas Player of the Year honor
 is a noteworthy achievement and a fitting end to Danielle
 Heithoff's celebrated tenure in Texas high school basketball, and
 she may indeed reflect with pride on her outstanding athletic
 performance with the Lady Panthers; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Danielle Heithoff on being named
 Player of the Year on the Tyler Morning Telegraph 2009 All-East
 Texas Girls Basketball Team and extend to her sincere best wishes
 for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Heithoff as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
