| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned more |

| 6 | 6 | | than half a century, Ken and Pat James of Waco celebrated their 50th |

| 7 | 7 | | wedding anniversary on June 27, 2008; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ken James and the former Patricia Williams exchanged |

| 9 | 9 | | the vows of matrimony at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Houston on |

| 10 | 10 | | that memorable day in 1958, and over the course of their marriage, |

| 11 | 11 | | they have found in each other a devoted life partner; today enjoying |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | an active retirement together, Reverend James is retired from the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | ministry, while Mrs. James is a homemaker; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Reverend and Mrs. James count among their blessings |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | a fine family that includes four children, Steven, Tammy, David, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | and Jeff, and four grandchildren, Scott, Eric, Reid, and Taylor, |

| 17 | 17 | | with whom they treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Looking back over the past five decades, Ken and Pat |

| 20 | 20 | | James may reflect with joy on their marriage and know that the |

| 21 | 21 | | strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more joyful |
