| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Carl and Dee Rucker of Waco celebrated their 50th |

| 6 | 6 | | wedding anniversary on August 9, 2008, and they may indeed reflect |

| 7 | 7 | | with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Carl Rucker and the former Dee Boyd exchanged the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | vows of matrimony in Erie, Pennsylvania, on that memorable day in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1958, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | other a devoted life partner; the couple both work as corporate |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | chaplains with Marketplace Chaplains USA and enjoy membership at |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | First United Methodist Church in Waco; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The Ruckers count among their blessings a fine |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | family that includes their two children, David and Debbie, as well |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | as six grandchildren, Lauren, Ethan, Andrew, Jonathan, Bethany, and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Jessica, with whom they share the many special occasions of life; |

| 18 | 18 | | and |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, For more than half a century, Carl and Dee Rucker |

| 20 | 20 | | have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, |

| 21 | 21 | | and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; |
