| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Sharron Zachry has earned a National PTA Life |

| 6 | 6 | | Achievement Award from the Midway Parent Teacher Association; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1899, the National Life Achievement |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Award is the highest accolade presented by the PTA; honorees are |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | recognized for rendering outstanding service to youth; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, A truly deserving recipient, Ms. Zachry has |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | distinguished herself throughout her exceptional career in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | education; she has served as principal of Midway High School for |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | many years and will soon lead a new elementary school opening in |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | fall 2009; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Zachry has demonstrated tremendous dedication |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | to the welfare of her students and all the youth of her community, |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | and she is indeed deserving of our respect and gratitude; now, |

| 18 | 18 | | therefore, be it |

| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 20 | 20 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Sharron Zachry on her receipt of a |
