| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Chad Bludau is celebrating a significant milestone |

| 6 | 6 | | in his life in May 2009 with his graduation from The University of |

| 7 | 7 | | Texas at Austin; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Bludau is a native of Hallettsville, which is |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | known to many as the birthplace of the Fiddlers Frolics and the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | world famous Kolache Fest; pursuing his higher education in the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Capitol City, he earned a bachelor's degree in economics while |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | minoring in business at the prestigious McCombs School of Business; |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, During the course of his college studies, Mr. Bludau |

| 15 | 15 | | has also distinguished himself through his work with the Texas |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | House of Representatives and Senate; participating in the Capitol |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | Connect program, he was entrusted with many diverse |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | responsibilities and became a valued member of the staff; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Chad Bludau is an outstanding young Texan whose |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | intelligence, commitment, and diligence will continue to serve him |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | well throughout the coming years, and it is a pleasure to recognize |

| 22 | 22 | | him as he prepares to embark on an exciting new chapter in his life; |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
