H.R. No. 2418
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Chad Bludau is celebrating a significant milestone
in his life in May 2009 with his graduation from The University of
Texas at Austin; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bludau is a native of Hallettsville, which is
known to many as the birthplace of the Fiddlers Frolics and the
world famous Kolache Fest; pursuing his higher education in the
Capitol City, he earned a bachelor's degree in economics while
minoring in business at the prestigious McCombs School of Business;
and
WHEREAS, During the course of his college studies, Mr. Bludau
has also distinguished himself through his work with the Texas
House of Representatives and Senate; participating in the Capitol
Connect program, he was entrusted with many diverse
responsibilities and became a valued member of the staff; and
WHEREAS, Chad Bludau is an outstanding young Texan whose
intelligence, commitment, and diligence will continue to serve him
well throughout the coming years, and it is a pleasure to recognize
him as he prepares to embark on an exciting new chapter in his life;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Chad Bludau on his graduation from
The University of Texas at Austin and commend him for his exemplary
service at the State Capitol; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Bludau as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
