H.R. No. 2445
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned nearly
half a century, Jack and Rita Boozer of Woodway celebrated their
45th wedding anniversary on June 30, 2007; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Boozer exchanged the vows of matrimony
at the First Methodist Church in Abilene on that special day in
1962, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each
other a devoted life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Boozer count among their blessings a
fine family that includes two children and four grandchildren, with
whom they treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; the
couple retired after 25 years in the jewelry business from Boozer
Jewelers; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past decades, Jack and Rita
Boozer can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know that
the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more
joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jack and Rita Boozer on their 45th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Boozer as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
