| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | by a great and enduring love, James and Elleen Frazier of Hewitt |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2007; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, James Frazier and the former Elleen Veselka were |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | united in matrimony at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1957; through the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling marriage |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | that has been made even richer with the addition of their children, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Mark Frazier and his wife, Suzanne, and Laura Black, and four |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Emily, and Liam; the couple are |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | active members of St. Louis Catholic Church; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Frazier served in the U.S. Army during the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Korean War and worked with General Tire and Colorite Plastics |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | before retiring and taking his current position with Allergan; Mrs. |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Frazier is a homemaker, having worked previously at the Better |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Business Bureau, Baylor University Employees' Credit Union, and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | City of Waco Employees' Credit Union; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby congratulate James and Elleen Frazier on the |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
