H.R. No. 2453
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned half a
century, Edgar and Ida Bulloch of El Paso celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on April 25, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bulloch exchanged the vows of matrimony
on that day in 1959, and over the course of their marriage, they
have found in each other a devoted life partner; they count among
their blessings a fine family, with whom they treasure sharing the
many special occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past five decades, Edgar and
Ida Bulloch can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know
that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many
more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Edgar and Ida Bulloch on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bulloch as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
