R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to
recognize Emily Blair Watler for her exemplary work as an intern in
the office of State Representative Carol Kent; and
WHEREAS, As an intern, Ms. Watler has gained firsthand
knowledge of the governmental process and work experience in a
political environment, as well as insight into the issues facing
our communities and our state today; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Blair Watler exhibited an
unsurpassed level of dedication, enthusiasm, and care to every
task, from studying legislation to meeting with constituents to
maintaining needed necessities for the proper functioning of the
office, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her
notable efforts; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Watler has made invaluable contributions to the
State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Blair Watler for her service and extend
to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Watler as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
