H.R. No. 2550 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, During the 81st Legislature, Zachary D. Almandoz has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Charlie Howard; and WHEREAS, Mr. Almandoz spent his early education at the International School of Bontang, Indonesia, and is a graduate of Cypress Creek High School in Houston, where he played varsity golf on the 2004 district championship team; he has attended Tyler Junior College and the University of Houston, and he now studies business administration and finance at Texas State University; and WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained valuable work experience in the field of public service; and WHEREAS, Mr. Almandoz has performed his duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby commend Zachary D. Almandoz for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Charlie Howard and extend to him warmest best wishes for great success in all his future endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Almandoz as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
