| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Brianna Brackens of Fairfield is commemorating a |

| 6 | 6 | | special milestone in her life on June 4, 2009, for on that day she |

| 7 | 7 | | graduates from the Texas School for the Deaf; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her three years at TSD, Ms. Brackens has |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | remained dedicated to her course work, and she has developed her |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | talent in her two favorite sports as a member of the basketball and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | track teams; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Brackens has developed a circle of devoted |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | friends with her outgoing, friendly personality; in the coming |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | months, she plans to attend Houston Community College to study |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | cosmetology; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Graduation marks the beginning of a new and exciting |

| 17 | 17 | | chapter in Ms. Brackens' life, and it is indeed fitting that she be |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | recognized for her noteworthy achievements; now, therefore, be it |

| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 20 | 20 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Brianna Brackens on her graduation |

| 21 | 21 | | from the Texas School for the Deaf and extend to her sincere best |

| 22 | 22 | | wishes for the future; and, be it further |
