44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Travis Whetsell has provided indispensable support
66 to the office of State Representative Terri Hodge as an intern
77 during the 81st Legislature; and
88 WHEREAS, A 2006 graduate of Texas State University, he is
99 continuing his education with plans to obtain his master's degree
1010 in public administration; he has been a correspondent for the Texas
1111 Legislative Service and a canvasser for TexPIRG, as well as a
1212 substitute teacher; and
1313 WHEREAS, Through his work in Representative Hodge's office,
1414 Mr. Whetsell has had an opportunity to learn more about issues of
1515 concern to citizens of the Lone Star State as he contributed to the
1616 legislative process and benefitted the constituents of House
1717 District 100, and it is a pleasure to recognize him for his
1818 achievements; now, therefore, be it
1919 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2020 Legislature hereby commend Travis Whetsell for his service as a
2121 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Terri
2222 Hodge and extend to him best wishes for success in all his future
2323 endeavors; and, be it further
2424 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2525 prepared for Mr. Whetsell as an expression of high regard by the
2626 Texas House of Representatives.
