H.R. No. 2632 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Travis Whetsell has provided indispensable support to the office of State Representative Terri Hodge as an intern during the 81st Legislature; and WHEREAS, A 2006 graduate of Texas State University, he is continuing his education with plans to obtain his master's degree in public administration; he has been a correspondent for the Texas Legislative Service and a canvasser for TexPIRG, as well as a substitute teacher; and WHEREAS, Through his work in Representative Hodge's office, Mr. Whetsell has had an opportunity to learn more about issues of concern to citizens of the Lone Star State as he contributed to the legislative process and benefitted the constituents of House District 100, and it is a pleasure to recognize him for his achievements; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby commend Travis Whetsell for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Terri Hodge and extend to him best wishes for success in all his future endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Whetsell as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
