| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Paul |

| 6 | 6 | | Dexter Hollabaugh of Waxahachie, who passed away on March 8, 2009, |

| 7 | 7 | | at the age of 71; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born on November 15, 1937, to Marshall and Mary Lou |

| 9 | 9 | | Hollabaugh in El Centro, California, Dexter Hollabaugh graduated |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | from Waxahachie High School and married the former Mary Lou Knott in |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | 1959; the couple were blessed with a daughter, Kellie, and shared 47 |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | rewarding years of marriage before Mrs. Hollabaugh passed away; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hollabaugh worked for the Texas Department of |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Transportation for 49 years and remained a loyal fan of Waxahachie |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | High School football throughout his life; in addition, he was a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | member of the Ellis County Master Gardener Association and an avid |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | bass fisherman; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Dexter Hollabaugh lived a full and purposeful life, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and he will always be remembered with great admiration and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | affection by those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Paul Dexter |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Hollabaugh and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | family: to his daughter, Kellie Roberts, and her husband, George; |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | to his nephew, Ron Hollabaugh; to his niece, Bonnie Shook; to his |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | fiancee, Sue Rosebrock; and to his other relatives and friends; |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | and, be it further |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
