44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Paul
66 Dexter Hollabaugh of Waxahachie, who passed away on March 8, 2009,
77 at the age of 71; and
88 WHEREAS, Born on November 15, 1937, to Marshall and Mary Lou
99 Hollabaugh in El Centro, California, Dexter Hollabaugh graduated
1010 from Waxahachie High School and married the former Mary Lou Knott in
1111 1959; the couple were blessed with a daughter, Kellie, and shared 47
1212 rewarding years of marriage before Mrs. Hollabaugh passed away; and
1313 WHEREAS, Mr. Hollabaugh worked for the Texas Department of
1414 Transportation for 49 years and remained a loyal fan of Waxahachie
1515 High School football throughout his life; in addition, he was a
1616 member of the Ellis County Master Gardener Association and an avid
1717 bass fisherman; and
1818 WHEREAS, Dexter Hollabaugh lived a full and purposeful life,
1919 and he will always be remembered with great admiration and
2020 affection by those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
2121 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2222 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Paul Dexter
2323 Hollabaugh and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his
2424 family: to his daughter, Kellie Roberts, and her husband, George;
2525 to his nephew, Ron Hollabaugh; to his niece, Bonnie Shook; to his
2626 fiancee, Sue Rosebrock; and to his other relatives and friends;
2727 and, be it further
2828 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2929 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
3030 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dexter
3131 Hollabaugh.
