H.R. No. 2645 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Friends and family are mourning the loss of Paul Dexter Hollabaugh of Waxahachie, who passed away on March 8, 2009, at the age of 71; and WHEREAS, Born on November 15, 1937, to Marshall and Mary Lou Hollabaugh in El Centro, California, Dexter Hollabaugh graduated from Waxahachie High School and married the former Mary Lou Knott in 1959; the couple were blessed with a daughter, Kellie, and shared 47 rewarding years of marriage before Mrs. Hollabaugh passed away; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hollabaugh worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for 49 years and remained a loyal fan of Waxahachie High School football throughout his life; in addition, he was a member of the Ellis County Master Gardener Association and an avid bass fisherman; and WHEREAS, Dexter Hollabaugh lived a full and purposeful life, and he will always be remembered with great admiration and affection by those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Paul Dexter Hollabaugh and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his daughter, Kellie Roberts, and her husband, George; to his nephew, Ron Hollabaugh; to his niece, Bonnie Shook; to his fiancee, Sue Rosebrock; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dexter Hollabaugh.
