| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the untimely death |

| 6 | 6 | | of Mandy McLane Wilkins of Waxahachie on April 7, 2009, at the age |

| 7 | 7 | | of 36; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Corsicana on January 22, 1973, the former |

| 9 | 9 | | Mandy McLane was the daughter of William Delano McLane and Mary Ann |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Clark McLane; she graduated in 1991 from Waxahachie High School and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | married Michael Wilkins on December 31, 1995; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Wilkins attended Bauder Fashion College in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Arlington and worked in marketing and display at Bealls department |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | store; she was a skilled seamstress and, in her leisure, enjoyed |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | embroidery and spending time with her dogs; moreover, she took |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | great pleasure in the company of her family; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Although she will be deeply missed, Mandy Wilkins |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | will long be remembered with great affection and admiration by all |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | those who held her dear; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Mandy McLane Wilkins |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | husband, Michael Wilkins; to her parents, Del and Mary Ann McLane; |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | to her siblings, Devin McLane, Keri McCoy and her husband, Steven, |

| 25 | 25 | | and Kristi Floyd and her husband, Todd; to her nephew, Ian Crooks; |

| 26 | 26 | | to her niece, Averi Floyd; and to her other relatives and many |
