| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Erbie and Shirley Lewis of Woodway celebrated their |

| 6 | 6 | | 50th wedding anniversary on June 28, 2007, and they may indeed |

| 7 | 7 | | reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |

| 8 | 8 | | and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis exchanged the vows of matrimony |

| 10 | 10 | | on that special day in 1957, and over the course of their marriage, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | they have found in one another a loving life partner; Mr. Lewis is |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | retired from the Waco Fire Department; Mrs. Lewis is a housewife; |

| 13 | 13 | | and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, This inspiring couple are members of Speegleville |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Baptist Church and count among their blessings a fine family that |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | includes two children, Glenn and Leslie, as well as two |

| 17 | 17 | | grandchildren, Taylor and Preston, with whom they share the many |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | special occasions of life; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, For half a century, Erbie and Shirley Lewis have |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |

| 21 | 21 | | is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
