 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
 honor Michael Hutson for his outstanding work as an intern in the
 office of State Representative Norma Chavez; and
 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in April 2006, Mr. Hutson
 has gained firsthand knowledge of the governmental process and
 experience in a political environment, as well as insight into the
 issues facing our communities and our state today; in addition to
 assisting with constituent matters and at committee meetings, he
 has worked on events in the El Paso district office; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Hutson earned his bachelor's degree in history
 from The University of Texas at Austin, and he plans to begin his
 studies at the Villanova University School of Law in Pennsylvania
 in the fall of 2009; a National Hispanic Scholarship winner, he is a
 member of the Austin chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor
 Society; and
 WHEREAS, Michael Hutson has brought skill, dedication, and
 enthusiasm to his work for House District 76, and it is most fitting
 to recognize him for a job well done; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Michael Hutson for his service as an
 intern in the office of State Representative Norma Chavez and
 extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Hutson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
