H.R. No. 3015
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Joseph "Sib" Abraham, Jr., was named Outstanding
Senior Lawyer at the Law Day Dinner and Awards Presentation hosted
by the El Paso Bar Association on May 9, 2009; and
WHEREAS, An attorney in private practice, Mr. Abraham
practices in the areas of administrative hearings, auto accidents,
civil tax litigation, criminal appeals, and criminal tax
litigation; and
WHEREAS, The Law Day Dinner provides an opportunity for
members of the El Paso Bar Association to honor lawyers and others
for their professional achievements, service to the legal
profession, and contributions to their community, and Mr. Abraham
is a most deserving recipient of this impressive accolade; and
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated efforts, Sib Abraham has
garnered the respect and admiration of his colleagues, and he may
take justifiable pride in his accomplishments; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Joseph "Sib" Abraham, Jr., on being
named the 2009 Outstanding Senior Lawyer by the El Paso Bar
Association and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Abraham as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
