5	5	WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Jose Jaime Guerrero of Alice has
6	6	rendered valiant service to this state and nation as a member of the
7	7	United States Army; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Guerrero has completed four tours of
9	9	duty in Iraq as part of the army's Network Support Company;
10	10	notwithstanding the hardships he faced in a war zone, he performed
11	11	his challenging work with dedication and professionalism and earned
12	12	the Army Commendation Medal and Commanding General's Coin of
13	13	Excellence; and
14	14	WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Staff Sergeant Guerrero has
15	15	received the loving support of his mother, Elda Monsevais, his
16	16	sisters, Melinda Guerrero and Lisa Munoz, and many other relatives
17	17	and friends; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Through his dedication to duty, honor, and this
19	19	country, Jose Guerrero embodies the highest ideals of the United
20	20	States armed forces, and he is deserving of his fellow citizens'
21	21	utmost respect and appreciation; now, therefore, be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
23	23	Legislature hereby honor Staff Sergeant Jose Jaime Guerrero for his
24	24	steadfast service in Iraq and extend to him sincere best wishes for
25	25	the future; and, be it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
27	27	prepared for Staff Sergeant Guerrero as an expression of high
28	28	regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
