H.R. No. 3074 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Jose Jaime Guerrero of Alice has rendered valiant service to this state and nation as a member of the United States Army; and WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Guerrero has completed four tours of duty in Iraq as part of the army's Network Support Company; notwithstanding the hardships he faced in a war zone, he performed his challenging work with dedication and professionalism and earned the Army Commendation Medal and Commanding General's Coin of Excellence; and WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Staff Sergeant Guerrero has received the loving support of his mother, Elda Monsevais, his sisters, Melinda Guerrero and Lisa Munoz, and many other relatives and friends; and WHEREAS, Through his dedication to duty, honor, and this country, Jose Guerrero embodies the highest ideals of the United States armed forces, and he is deserving of his fellow citizens' utmost respect and appreciation; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby honor Staff Sergeant Jose Jaime Guerrero for his steadfast service in Iraq and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Staff Sergeant Guerrero as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
