| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to |

| 6 | 6 | | honor Cameron Eckel for her outstanding work as an intern in the |

| 7 | 7 | | office of State Representative Vicki Truitt; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Eckel was indispensible to the smooth running of |

| 9 | 9 | | the office during session, helping to draft letters and to prepare |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Representative Truitt for floor debate; she was also particularly |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | adept at updating the representative's FileMaker Pro database, and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | she has been equally adept at disguising the fact that she never |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | wants to hear the name "FileMaker Pro" ever again; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, This energetic and good-humored young Texan was also |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | highly skilled at dealing with difficult phone calls, saving her |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | annoyance until after the conclusion of the call so that she could |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | let the rest of the office know just how illogical people can be; |
|---|

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Having celebrated her 21st birthday on May 17, Ms. |

| 20 | 20 | | Eckel will now move on to new opportunities and challenges; she may |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | take with her the knowledge that she has made important |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | contributions to the legislative process and the constituents of |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | House District 98 during the current session, and Representative |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Truitt is personally grateful for her dedication, professionalism, |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | teamwork, and valuable assistance; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby commend Cameron Eckel for her service as an |

| 28 | 28 | | intern in the office of State Representative Vicki Truitt and |
