| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jacquelyn Camille Alamia of Austin celebrated a |

| 6 | 6 | | significant milestone in her life on May 29, 2009, with her |

| 7 | 7 | | graduation from Westlake High School; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her school career, Jacky Alamia has |

| 9 | 9 | | dedicated herself to meeting the highest academic standards, and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | she plans to attend the University of Kansas in the fall of 2009; |

|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young woman has demonstrated |

| 13 | 13 | | exceptional athletic ability, earning four letters in varsity |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | soccer and consistently attaining all-district team honors |

| 15 | 15 | | throughout her years as a Westlake Chap; as a senior, she received |

| 16 | 16 | | Westlake's 12th Man Award and was named the school's Athlete of the |

| 17 | 17 | | Week in March for excellence in her chosen sport; and |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Dr. Rodolfo Alamia and Paula Alamia |

| 19 | 19 | | and sister to Stefan, Ms. Alamia has earned the respect and |

| 20 | 20 | | admiration of all who know her, and she may reflect proudly on her |

| 21 | 21 | | many accomplishments as she looks with anticipation and optimism to |

| 22 | 22 | | the next chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
