H.R. No. 3095
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jacquelyn Camille Alamia of Austin celebrated a
significant milestone in her life on May 29, 2009, with her
graduation from Westlake High School; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her school career, Jacky Alamia has
dedicated herself to meeting the highest academic standards, and
she plans to attend the University of Kansas in the fall of 2009;
and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young woman has demonstrated
exceptional athletic ability, earning four letters in varsity
soccer and consistently attaining all-district team honors
throughout her years as a Westlake Chap; as a senior, she received
Westlake's 12th Man Award and was named the school's Athlete of the
Week in March for excellence in her chosen sport; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Dr. Rodolfo Alamia and Paula Alamia
and sister to Stefan, Ms. Alamia has earned the respect and
admiration of all who know her, and she may reflect proudly on her
many accomplishments as she looks with anticipation and optimism to
the next chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jacquelyn Camille Alamia on the
occasion of her graduation from Westlake High School and extend to
her sincere best wishes for success in her future endeavors; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Alamia as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
