| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, After nearly a decade of service on the Plano |

| 6 | 6 | | Independent School District board of trustees, Melody Timinsky |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | concluded her outstanding tenure in 2009; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, School board members play an integral role in the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | education of our children, and since 2000 Melody Timinsky has |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | committed herself to supporting the efforts of the Plano ISD to |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | provide a high-quality public education to many young Texans; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, The Place 6 trustee, Ms. Timinsky was the vice |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | president of the board from 2005 through 2008; she has represented |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | the group on the Plano Economic Development Board, the chamber of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | commerce, and the Head Start Advisory Committee and was the City of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Richardson liaison in 2007 and 2008; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, With the utmost dedication, Melody Timinsky has |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | worked to build a bright future for area schoolchildren, and it is |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | indeed a pleasure to recognize her for notable contributions to her |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | community; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby honor Melody Timinsky for her service as a |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | trustee of the Plano Independent School District and extend to her |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it |
