| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and |

| 6 | 6 | | talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are |

| 7 | 7 | | truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Brendan Hyde |

| 8 | 8 | | is one such individual; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Originally from Klein, Mr. Hyde served as a |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | legislative intern in the office of State Representative Will |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Hartnett from January to May 2009, and his commitment, dedication, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and cheerful disposition were much appreciated by his colleagues; |

|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hyde is a student at St. Edward's University, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and his hands-on experience with the workings of state government |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | will no doubt enrich and inform his undergraduate experience; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | end, they share his excitement in a future that is bright with |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | promise; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby honor Brendan Hyde for his service as a |

| 22 | 22 | | legislative intern in the office of State Representative Will |

| 23 | 23 | | Hartnett and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
