44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and
66 talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are
77 truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Brendan Hyde
88 is one such individual; and
99 WHEREAS, Originally from Klein, Mr. Hyde served as a
1010 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Will
1111 Hartnett from January to May 2009, and his commitment, dedication,
1212 and cheerful disposition were much appreciated by his colleagues;
1313 and
1414 WHEREAS, Mr. Hyde is a student at St. Edward's University,
1515 and his hands-on experience with the workings of state government
1616 will no doubt enrich and inform his undergraduate experience; and
1717 WHEREAS, Although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure
1818 end, they share his excitement in a future that is bright with
1919 promise; now, therefore, be it
2020 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2121 Legislature hereby honor Brendan Hyde for his service as a
2222 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Will
2323 Hartnett and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
2424 success and happiness; and, be it further
2525 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2626 prepared for Mr. Hyde as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2727 House of Representatives.
