H.R. No. 3108 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Brendan Hyde is one such individual; and WHEREAS, Originally from Klein, Mr. Hyde served as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Will Hartnett from January to May 2009, and his commitment, dedication, and cheerful disposition were much appreciated by his colleagues; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hyde is a student at St. Edward's University, and his hands-on experience with the workings of state government will no doubt enrich and inform his undergraduate experience; and WHEREAS, Although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure end, they share his excitement in a future that is bright with promise; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby honor Brendan Hyde for his service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Will Hartnett and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. Hyde as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
