44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and
66 talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are
77 truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Chase Carter
88 is one such individual; and
99 WHEREAS, Mr. Carter has served as an administrative aide in
1010 the office of State Representative Will Hartnett since September
1111 2008, and his dedication and hard work have been greatly
1212 appreciated by his colleagues; he has managed his many daily
1313 responsibilities in an exceptional manner, demonstrating a keen
1414 attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and a patience that
1515 seemingly has no bounds; and
1616 WHEREAS, A recent graduate of St. Edward's University, where
1717 he earned a bachelor's degree in political science, Mr. Carter was
1818 active in student government and served as a student representative
1919 on the academic advisory council; moreover, he has participated in
2020 the greater community as a GOP delegate to the senatorial district
2121 convention for Precinct 433; and
2222 WHEREAS, Mr. Carter has gained an understanding of the inner
2323 workings of the Texas Legislature and the legislative process that
2424 will surely serve him well as he prepares to enter law school;
2525 although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure end, they share
2626 his excitement as he prepares to embark on a future that is bright
2727 with promise; now, therefore, be it
2828 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
2929 Legislature hereby honor Chase Carter for his outstanding service
3030 as an administrative aide and extend to him sincere best wishes for
3131 continued success and happiness; and, be it further
3232 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3333 prepared for Mr. Carter as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3434 House of Representatives.
