 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Those young people who give of their time and
 talents to assist in the demanding work of the Texas Legislature are
 truly deserving of our gratitude and admiration, and Chase Carter
 is one such individual; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Carter has served as an administrative aide in
 the office of State Representative Will Hartnett since September
 2008, and his dedication and hard work have been greatly
 appreciated by his colleagues; he has managed his many daily
 responsibilities in an exceptional manner, demonstrating a keen
 attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and a patience that
 seemingly has no bounds; and
 WHEREAS, A recent graduate of St. Edward's University, where
 he earned a bachelor's degree in political science, Mr. Carter was
 active in student government and served as a student representative
 on the academic advisory council; moreover, he has participated in
 the greater community as a GOP delegate to the senatorial district
 convention for Precinct 433; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Carter has gained an understanding of the inner
 workings of the Texas Legislature and the legislative process that
 will surely serve him well as he prepares to enter law school;
 although his coworkers are sorry to see his tenure end, they share
 his excitement as he prepares to embark on a future that is bright
 with promise; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Chase Carter for his outstanding service
 as an administrative aide and extend to him sincere best wishes for
 continued success and happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Carter as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
