5	5	WHEREAS, Lori Bratcher has been named the 2009 Elementary
6	6	Teacher of the Year by the Weatherford Independent School District;
7	7	and
8	8	WHEREAS, Ms. Bratcher earned a degree in elementary education
9	9	from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, and since then she
10	10	has acquired 16 years of classroom experience; and
11	11	WHEREAS, A fifth-grade teacher at Curtis Elementary School,
12	12	Ms. Bratcher inspires in her students a love of learning that places
13	13	them on the path to a bright and rewarding future; and
14	14	WHEREAS, There is no more important work than educating the
15	15	children of Texas, and Lori Bratcher is indeed deserving of
16	16	recognition for her commitment to excellence in this demanding
17	17	profession; now, therefore, be it
18	18	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
19	19	Legislature hereby congratulate Lori Bratcher on her selection as
20	20	the 2009 Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Weatherford
21	21	Independent School District and extend to her sincere best wishes
22	22	for continued success; and, be it further
23	23	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
24	24	prepared for Ms. Bratcher as an expression of high regard by the
25	25	Texas House of Representatives.
