R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Analisa Richards of Helotes won the prize for the
grand champion goat at the 2009 Bexar County Junior Livestock Show;
and
WHEREAS, A senior at Sandra Day O'Connor High School, Ms.
Richards is a member of the O'Connor FFA organization and takes part
in FFA career and leadership development activities at her high
school; and
WHEREAS, In all of her endeavors, she enjoys the support and
encouragement of her parents, Teresa Herrera and Lyle Richards, and
her grandparents, Andy and Rosa Herrera and Walter and Betty
Richards; and
WHEREAS, Analisa Richards exercised commendable
determination and know-how in raising her prize-winning animal, and
she may wear her championship belt buckle with pride as a symbol of
her outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Analisa Richards for winning the
prize for the grand champion goat at the 2009 Bexar County Junior
Livestock Show and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Richards as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
