5	5	WHEREAS, The passing of Eleanor Anne Baumgarten of Houston on
6	6	August 25, 2008, at the age of 70, has deeply saddened all those who
7	7	were fortunate enough to know her; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Born to Arthur and Mildred Leopold on June 10, 1938,
9	9	Eleanor Leopold enjoyed the companionship of a sister, Joyce, and
10	10	three brothers, Tom, Ron, and William; and
11	11	WHEREAS, Mrs. Baumgarten and her husband, Roger, shared a
12	12	rewarding relationship that was strengthened by mutual love,
13	13	kindness, and an abiding faith; they became the proud parents of two
14	14	beloved children, Matthew and Monica; and
15	15	WHEREAS, This gracious woman lived a caring and purposeful
16	16	life, and she will forever be remembered for her compassion and
17	17	quiet determination; now, therefore, be it
18	18	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
19	19	Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Eleanor Anne
20	20	Baumgarten and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her
21	21	family: to her husband, Roger Baumgarten; to her children, Matthew
22	22	and Monica; to her sister, Joyce Basarich, and her husband, Dan; to
23	23	her brothers, Tom, Ron, and William Leopold; to her uncle, Bill
24	24	Leopold; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
25	25	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
26	26	prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
27	27	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Eleanor
28	28	Anne Baumgarten.
