| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |

| 6 | 6 | | by a great and enduring love, Felipe and Zoila Hernandez of Stanton |

| 7 | 7 | | celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on February 14, 2009; |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez were united in matrimony on |

| 10 | 10 | | Valentine's Day 1959 at a ceremony held in Tarzan, and they have |

| 11 | 11 | | made their home in Stanton throughout their marriage; since |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | beginning their journey together as husband and wife, they have |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | the addition of two children, Diana and Danny and his wife, Andrea, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and two grandsons, Ryan and Dustin Hernandez; and |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |

| 17 | 17 | | half-century, Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez have remained constant in |

| 18 | 18 | | their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |

| 20 | 20 | | and optimism; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
