| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Trinity School of Midland is celebrating its 50th |

| 6 | 6 | | anniversary on April 18, 2009; and |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Founded on the principle of enrichment for mind, |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | body, and soul, Trinity School is a college preparatory academy |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | dedicated to upholding exemplary academic, ethical, and behavioral |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | standards for its students; the values of effort, knowledge, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | honesty are taught alongside physical education, foreign |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | languages, and the visual and performing arts; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Trinity School offers prekindergarten through high |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | school level study, and it maintains a supportive community |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | atmosphere throughout the course of enrollment; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The education of young Texans is a cornerstone of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | the future for the Lone Star State, and Trinity School has dedicated |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | itself admirably to that worthy goal for half a century; now, |

| 19 | 19 | | therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Trinity School of Midland on the |

| 22 | 22 | | occasion of its 50th anniversary and extend to its faculty, staff, |

| 23 | 23 | | and students sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
