R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Trinity School of Midland is celebrating its 50th
anniversary on April 18, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Founded on the principle of enrichment for mind,
body, and soul, Trinity School is a college preparatory academy
dedicated to upholding exemplary academic, ethical, and behavioral
standards for its students; the values of effort, knowledge, and
honesty are taught alongside physical education, foreign
languages, and the visual and performing arts; and
WHEREAS, Trinity School offers prekindergarten through high
school level study, and it maintains a supportive community
atmosphere throughout the course of enrollment; and
WHEREAS, The education of young Texans is a cornerstone of
the future for the Lone Star State, and Trinity School has dedicated
itself admirably to that worthy goal for half a century; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Trinity School of Midland on the
occasion of its 50th anniversary and extend to its faculty, staff,
and students sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
