| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 524.003, Insurance Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsection (c) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (c) The department shall post on the Internet website | |
| 13 | 13 | developed under Subsection (a) a comparison of insurers' medical | |
| 14 | 14 | loss ratios, profit margins, average premium increases, | |
| 15 | 15 | administrative costs, and surplus amounts in a manner prescribed by | |
| 16 | 16 | rules adopted by the commissioner. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
